Charles LOVES primary. All day to day he has been telling all of us about Book of Mormon Stories. He thinks we all need to do this with him all the time. Here are some of the pictures singing the song and practicing the actions of the song.

You got to love the excitement of the little ones. He also wanted everyone to know that he has a body like Jesus, then proceeded to ask everyone else if they were like him too.

Boston Day 3 and 4

Two years ago we where on a trip and found all the state licence plates except Rhode Island. So this picture is so the boys know they really do have cars in Rhode Island. In those last two years the boys have still been looking for this plate.

We went to President Kennedy's Library. It had a lot of video's and copies of documents, this is one of my favorite pictures there. I was kind of disappointed in it. I think Ike Library is still my favorite one we have been to.
This was cool too, it was a piece of the Berlin Wall sent to the President

While Loren was working I went up to Harvard, right out in front of it they were handing out free Monsters to the students. Smart marketing...

This is me in front of John Harvard, I guess if you touch the toe you have good luck for the year. We'll see if that happens.

I also went to the Science Museum. They had a Harry Potter exhibit there of costumes and parts of the set they used in the movies. You couldn't take any pictures except for the horse from the chess game in the first movie .....

and these flags hanging in the hall. However it super cool and I glad I got to go see it.

Day 2 in Boston

The ice rink in the middle of Fenway field. I guess only families where allowed in with there kids, but Loren and I just walked in. Later we found out we came in though the way you where suppose to leave. They where so shocked we got in they let us take some picture.

First day in Boston

We went to see the Boston Tea Party site, however we found out after walking in the freezing cold that it burnt down three years ago. So this is it now!!!

We had a great time, it is getting to be a lot of fun now that the kids are getting big, so they will be having father and son camp out and leaving the girls behind... oh yeah it's Larry and Adam never mind. Thanks to all!!! Looking forward to next year.

Disneyland

Since we have moved to Vegas the boys have asked to go to Disneyland.

Well we finally made it!!!

We stayed part of the time with our friends Dan & Charlene.

The rest at the Disneyland Hotel. This picture is in the Hotel, I thought it was cool.

This is one of my favorites. Grif and Chuck love the movie Cars!!

Chuck was scared to go by himself so Grif took him. As you can see from the picture before he wasn't scared for very long.

They have a show they choose kids to be trained as a Jedi. We had to go until Josh was chosen, not any of the other boys cared. Josh we think just thought the Jedi master with the blond hair was cute.

Baseball Spring 2009

Another season has come and gone here are some pics of the boys this season.

This one is of Grif in the team he wished he was on, even though he was on the Giants he always tried to wear his Dodger hat!!!!

Rock Band

After playing with Adam and Mindy we had to get it. It wasn't a want it was a need. What other game has such a great family bonding time. I mean no one has time to fight cuz you don't want to be the reason you FAIL!!!

Charlie is the best bass for the drums.

Grif is quit the rocker himself. Did I mention we don't add their instrument in, don't tell them though. According to them they are on expert!!

John and Cy on the other hand are in. John's goal is to beat Adam on vocals!!!

Hiking

A couple of the days we went hiking up in the Red Rock area. It is a great place to take kids hiking. There are some harder areas and some really simply ones. The kids loved it and loved showing each other that they were mountain goats. Here are some of the pictures of our hikes. Enjoy!!

Park after Christmas

Mindy and Adam family came down to hang out for Christmas vacation. We spent one of the days up at the park by our house. John is quite the monkey.

A lovely walk around the park. Everyone testing out the new bikes and ones handed down to them.

Christmas Morning

We had a great Christmas. We were able to enjoy each others company and different friends and family here for the the last couple months. The highlight of the boys gifts was their Wii. Josh is at the age he thinks he gets to decide who gets to go first on everything.

However little does he know!! The boys have loved it and playing all the games.

Bowling

We went bowling for family night the Monday before Christmas.

Snow in Vegas???

As you have heard we had record snow here in Vegas. It has happened about 4 or 5 times out by our house since we've been here but this time it hit the whole valley!!!!

Here is John, Charles, and Grif out in front of house when it first really started to stick.

As you can see the thought this was great fun throwing things at people and you don't get in trouble.

They tried sledding but there isn't very big hills at our park.

The Bookcase

Scott and Trudy came down to visit in Nov. We had cute pictures of the visit but lost them to problems with our SD card. While they were here I asked Scott to help me with an idea I had. He graciously helped. It took a little longer than I thought and he wasn't able to see the finished project. Here it is now being fully used . THANK YOU Scott. It turned out great and you we're a great sport. We hope to see you soon. It was a great visit.

A cold day in the pool

We came home from Polar Express to pool being 2 feet empty from the top.

While it was feeling up I did some work on the pool. It is easier to clean with the water gone.
However I have boys who like to tease their mother!!!

I got in but sissy lala wouldn't get wet , It was to cold. However if I was dying he said he would save me.

After he has already sprayed me, I wasn't feeling that safe.

As you can see he like to cause trouble. I wonder where he gets it from.

By this time I have no feeling in my feet or most of my body. But hey the pool is ready now.

Polar Express 2008

Lee Canyon

Loren and I spent three days with Cy and the rest of the 5th grade. We went for a walk on the last day. We had a great time. Here are some of the pictures.

A Day at the Fields

We told him to man up so he goes for the biggest player.
That ends up being a hands ball, thanks to John.

He's going in for the kill, no luck though.

John's been playing goalie for the last couple weeks this was his 2nd week playing goalie.
Look at the competitive face. Boy I have no idea where he gets that from!!

Short hike

Here we go on a hike that is 5 miles, but we decided only to hike the first 1 1/2 since we had all the boys. John was done before we started. He kept stopping for anything he could think of.
This was after the first water break, Josh really never stopped on the water breaks the whole hike. That's what we get for giving him the pack.

We made it to the big Aspen. Grandma was happy Josh just didn't say he was taking the picture. The boys were doing great so we decided to keep going.

Here was the view across from the ski resort. I know if your from Utah it doesn't look like much.
This was about half way. This tree was huge. The boys were still hanging in there. Grif was at this time telling us his toes hurt, we told him to swing his arms and he would be fine. However late Saturday night I found a huge blister on his big toe.

Grandma's little scientist, they had to check out every plant!!
At this point I kept saying it has to go down hill here soon.

Boy was I wrong!!!
Finally DOWN HILL!! Grif held his hands out like a penguin, grandma told him it would help him if he started to fall.

Little did she know how serious he would take her advice.

His arms didn't come down until we almost finished but then he was freezing. He is such a desert rat.

We had a great time and loved playing with grandma. Thanks dad for letting her come. Hopeful the boys weren't to hard on her. Thanks again, Love you guys.

Dodgers and Beach

The boys and I decided to go for a ride on Newport beach, in other words a lot of work for me and when he felt like helping.

Then it was off to Dodger Stadium with dad.

The boys love the all you can eat section.

Got to love the Dodger Dogs!!!

Each of the boys also won mini radios. Grif and John loved theirs.

Cy's favorite part, the 7th inning stretch.
Josh tried to out due the people behind us.

We tried to get a picture with the THINK BLUE sign,

no luck but the boys look cute.

The next day we headed back to the beach the boys had so much fun

on the bike that thought there dad should get to ride.

I was happy to have the help, however Josh helped a lot this time.

The boys think I drive better though, Loren thought it was fun to let the bushes

hit the opposite side of him!!!!

Then it was time to hit the beach.
I grabbed a buggy board for the boys.

Josh seemed to be the only one who liked to

ride on it. He know thinks he's ready to try

surfing, wait till he see's it first hand.

Cy and John were happy just to body surf with there life vests.

Cy kept getting his feet knock out from under him,

But in Cy words he's ok with that.

Charles and Grif only wanted to did in the dirt.

Toward the end Chuck would get in the water Grif never really

warmed up to the Idea.

Charles quite liked the idea of relaxing,

he is a lot like his dad.

However Charles didn't get burned like his Dad.

Suttlemyre Reunion 08

This year the family reunion was up in Ogden and surrounding areas. My family's favorite part was the day up skiing so that's what my pictures are of. You have to have the grandparents with all the kids.

Charles and Quinn are two of the same if one doesn't come up with the other will. They looks so sweet though. HAHA

Griffin, Brooklin and Jed are right in the mix of things you can tell what to get to go on the boat a little more than one. Hold on Grif it's almost over. He did get brave and ride on the tube.

This one of the only pictures I could find with John, Noah and Grant. Mainly since Grant and John wanted to be on the land. John is making progress he now will ride the tube. Next year he says he is going to ski, we'll see!

Josh, Cy and Weston are really coming into there own. They we're willing to try everything from riding the tube, ski's and in the boat. They also didn't need much convincing to swim in the dam.

Josh's 12th B-day

Josh got to play in a baseball game for his 12th birthday. Not to mention having a great game. His team ended up winning there division this year. Josh played 2nd and outfield.

The following Sunday he received the priesthood. Both grandparents, and Adam's family came down to it. We had a great time with all and it meant a lot to us and Josh.
